Meredith at Centennial Lake - Page 3 - flyaway's Photos

Meredith and Mom went to the lake at Centennial Park on Sunday, June 6, 2004 for a few hours of kayaking and birding. These are the first pictures ever taken of Meredith paddling in her new NuNu XL kayak!

We traded the camera back and forth periodically, so there are pictures here from both vantage points -- land and water.

flyaway > Small recreational kayaks are more difficult to paddle than sea kayaks because they don't cut through the water as cleanly as the longer boats do, so Meredith has to paddle hard to get her speed up.

flyaway > Meredith enjoys the feeling of being on in her kayak for one more moment before pulling the boat out and leaving the lake.

flyaway > I'm proud of my beautiful daughter.
